A friendly & informal group devoted to the pleasure of devoting a couple of hours to drinking tea, eating too many calories and enjoying pleasant company. We take afternoon tea at a variety of London hotels and other places. This typically comprises finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream & jam, and cakes or pastries - plus all the tea you can drink, of course! Neither Kathryn nor I have any free weekends in May, so there will not be a meetup next month.
The next Afternoon Tea meetup will thus take place at the Athenaeum on Sunday 29th June at 4.30pm. I have made a booking for 20 people.
