Welcome, Tokyo Tea Lovers!

I love Tokyo and love afternoon tea and simply want to bring people together who share the same interests and enjoy meeting nice people, sitting in nice cafes and hotels, enjoying 3 hours on the weekend, usually Sunday afternoon, drinking tea, enjoying scones and cakes and making new friends.

I've done this before and explored many places, hotels, restaurants etc. around Tokyo and would love to share it with new people. All nationalities, genders, etc. welcome. Japanese and foreign most welcome.

I also would like to make it a little educational. I am not a teacher, I work as an editor and writer from home, my web site is here: www.nativechecker.com but I would like to talk to the guests about things like poetry, the difference between "high tea" and "afternoon tea", travel, culture and anything else. Other people are very welcome to give talks as well. I am thinking of having a talk for maybe 10 minutes before we enjoy the afternoon tea.
